Explore The Materials Library

This resource was created with the hope that designers, architects, engineers, construction firms, artists, product developers, and anyone in the creative industries will have new resources and tools to promote the creation of products and construction that contribute to a circular economy.

The SFSU Sustainable Materials Library is open to the SFSU community and the general public.  Whether you're a designer seeking inspiration, an engineer sourcing responsible material, or simply curious about what the future is made of — come see it for yourself. The physical library at the San Francisco State University campus, Humanities Building 130, as well as this online resource is available for the public to access and learn from an evolving collection of sustainable materials that support creativity, research, and environmental stewardship.
